Moving around in 3D

The map is now draped over the elevation model

Mouse. Hold the right mouse button (or Ctrl and the left button) anywhere on the right-hand map and drag. Moving left and right swings the view around; up and down tilts it between overhead and the horizon.

Touch. Drag with two fingers to tilt, and twist them to rotate.

Back to north. The compass button in the top-right corner returns the view to north, keeping whichever of 2D or 3D is showing. Shift with the arrow keys rotates and tilts from the keyboard.

Only the right-hand map takes input. The left-hand side is a clipped copy of the same camera, so it follows every rotation and keeps the two halves of the comparison aligned.
